SHIPPING INFORMATION

At Marihi, we aim to deliver your orders promptly and securely. Please read our shipping policy carefully to understand how we handle delivery.

Shipping Locations and Costs


All orders are shipped from our base in Ōtautahi Christchurch, New Zealand. Shipping costs are based on the weight of your items, and where possible, we will package multiple items together to minimise shipping costs.

Heavier items, such as candles, may incur higher shipping fees. Shipping to the North Island may be slightly more expensive than to Canterbury or the South Island due to distance.

Enter your location on the Cart page to get an estimate of the shipping costs. 

Unfortunately, we cannot offer click-and-collect services at this time.

Rural Delivery Addresses


If your address is a rural delivery location, please ensure you select the rural delivery option at checkout. If this option is not selected, we may need to contact you for payment of the additional freight costs before your items are packaged and shipped.

Delivery Timeframes


Most orders will arrive within 7 working days, and in many cases, sooner. If there are any significant delays, we will notify you promptly.

If you require your order urgently, please let us know when you place your order, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

PAYMENT POLICY

At Marihi, we strive to make your shopping experience seamless and secure. Please review our payment policy below.

Accepted Payment Methods


We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, as well as other payment options supported by Stripe.

Payment Security


All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a trusted payment gateway provider. Your payment information is encrypted and handled in accordance with strict industry standards to ensure your data remains safe. Marihi does not store your credit card information.

Order Confirmation


Once your payment is successfully processed, you will receive an order confirmation email containing your order details. Please review this email to ensure all information is correct.

Payment Disputes


If you encounter any issues with your payment or believe a transaction has been processed in error, please contact us at hello@marihi.nz immediately.

Refunds and Credits


Refunds, if applicable, will be processed in accordance with our Returns and Refunds Policy below. Please note that refunds, online credits, or gift vouchers will only be issued once we have received and reviewed the returned item, where applicable.

RETURN & REFUNDS POLICY

At Marihi, we take pride in our bespoke artisan products. Please read our returns policy carefully before making a purchase.

Faulty Products

Goods may be returned to Marihi if they are faulty. In the first instance, we reserve the right to repair or replace the returned item. If the item cannot be repaired or replaced, we will issue an online credit or gift voucher valid for 12 months.

Marihi does not issue cash refunds. If a monetary refund is agreed upon, the funds will be transferred only to a designated bank account.

Photo Representation

We strive to represent our products accurately through detailed descriptions and photographs. However, slight variations may occur due to the unique, handmade nature of our items. If you feel the product does not match its description or photos, please contact us at hello@marihi.nz to discuss.

Change of Mind

As our products are bespoke and one-of-a-kind, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind. Please choose carefully before completing your purchase.

Return Process

To initiate a return, you must notify us within three working days of receiving your order. The returned item must be received by us within seven working days of the original delivery date.

The item must be safely and securely packaged in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Return Shipping

All return shipments must be sent via tracked shipping. Marihi is not responsible for lost or damaged items in transit. If an item is damaged during return shipping, no refund or replacement will be issued.
